Program (updated)

The conference will take place August 17th–19th somewhere on the internet.

All days start at 13:00 UTC.

The conference has three invited speakers, thirteen regular conference talks and one alternate paper. There will be prerecorded talks that have a Q&A session and there will be live presentations followed by normal Q&A sessions.

You may import the program into your phone or into your calendar software by configuring a web-based calendar pointing to the URL: (url removed) — it should then adjust to your time zone!

For the prerecorded talks, we recommend approximately 20 minutes for regular talks and 30 minutes for invited talks. We also suggest that each speaker give a very brief summary of their talk at the beginning of their QA session (no longer than 3 minutes for regular talks and 5 minutes for invited talks).

Please watch all videos ahead of time. (They are linked from a separate page because the calendar-based schedule does not allow inserting video links!)

Invited Speakers

  • Gosse Bouma (University of Groningen): Enhanced Universal Dependencies and its relationship to HPSG (prerecorded)

  • Gert Webelhuth (Goethe University Frankfurt): On C-command Constraints in German: a Corpus-Based Investigation (live presentation)

The time zones in the following calendar are CEST. 15:00 corresponds to 13:00 UTC, 9:00 EDT, 6:00 PDT, 22:00 JST. Once again, if you download the calendar using the link above, it should adjust to your time zone.
