International Conference on Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar
Welcome to the home page of the International Conference on Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG).
The HPSG conference is held every year, in the northern hemisphere summer. In principle the location rotates between Asia, Europe, and North America.
From 2000 to 2020, the conference proceedings have been published electronically by CSLI Publications, Stanford. As of 2021, they are published by the University Library of the University of Frankfurt/Main. All volumes from 2000 onwards are available at proceedings.hpsg.xyz.
A comprehensive handbook on HPSG was published in 2021 and is freely available at the Language Science Press website.
Standing Committee
The organization of the conference is overseen by a Standing Committee.
