Editorial
Dear All,
Welcome to the second issue of the HPSG Gazette, which gathered the new pieces of information concerning the HPSG for these – obviously – quiet first months of 2014. We want to renew our encouragement to let us know about HPSG-related talks you may have delivered or heard, HPSG publications, theses, new HPSG projects or softwares, moves within the HPSG community or any other kind of HPSG related information. Send us an email:
Remember that any urgent information should be rather posted on the HPSG mailing list.
If you have any remark or recommendation, do not hesitate to share them. The quality of the Gazette depends on you!
Best regards and enjoy the issue!

Agreement 2014: Defining and mapping agreement
Date: 31 July 2014 Location: King's Manor, York, UK Invited speakers: Greville Corbett (Surrey), Jürg Fleischer (Marburg)
This workshop is devoted to a cross-disciplinary exploration of the agreement phenomenon, and the extent to which agreement may be defined in any given theory, as well as the ways in which agreement is expressed at the interfaces and/or mapped onto linguistic typologies. The workshop is not restricted to any particular theory or framework, and is open to any analysis that is firmly grounded in empirical data, which seeks to analyse agreement in morphology, syntax, semantics or its interfaces.
