{"id":16,"date":"2020-06-08T19:29:04","date_gmt":"2020-06-08T17:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hpsg.hu-berlin.de\/hpsg2020\/?page_id=16"},"modified":"2020-06-23T09:57:36","modified_gmt":"2020-06-23T07:57:36","slug":"cfp","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hpsg.hu-berlin.de\/hpsg2020\/cfp\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for papers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>Important dates:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>First call for papers: November 21st, 2019<\/li><li>Second call for papers: January 14th, 2020<\/li><li>Abstract submission deadline: March 8th, 2020 (12 Midnight GMT)<\/li><li>Notifications of acceptance: May 1st, 2020<\/li><li>Conference: 17.08.2020\u201319.08.2020<\/li><li>Conference proceedings submission: October 15th, 2020<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Call for papers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Abstracts are invited that address linguistic, foundational, or computational issues relating to or in the spirit of the framework of Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar and\/or Sign-Based Construction Grammar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Submissions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Two types of submissions are admitted both for the main conference and the workshop:<br>Long papers (4-page abstract + 1 page data, figures &amp; references; 30 minute presentation + 10 minute discussion) Short papers (2-page abstract + 1 page data, figures &amp; references; 15 minute presentation + 5 minute discussion) Please note that abstracts submitted for the &#8220;long paper&#8221; track can be accepted as &#8220;short papers&#8221; (and vice versa). Only &#8220;long papers&#8221; will appear in the proceedings.<br>All abstracts (written in English) should be submitted in PDF format via: <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=hpsg-27-leuven-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EasyChair<\/a>.<br>All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by at least two reviewers. The submissions should not include the authors&#8217; names, and authors are asked to avoid self-references. Please direct any questions to the Program Committee Chair (anke.holler@phil.uni-goettingen.de).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Publication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A selection of the conference proceedings will be published online by CSLI Publications. A call for contributions to the proceedings will be issued after the conference.
