To-Do:
use the software.html from the web instead of adapting it.
install vmware tools.
adapt grammars 10-19 to use a phrase structure rule instead of a lexical rule
for verb movement.
Changes:
17.08.2013 - added keyboard layouts for English, French, and German Mac keyboard.
13.06.2013 - moved .Xmodmap to dot-xmodmap. It works for German PC keyboards, but not for US ones (since z is mapped to US-y).
12.06.2013 - enabled autologin
added greeting web pages in FU layout
installed firefox, konqueror doesn't make it ...
10.06.2013 - compiled virtual box image with Ubuntu 12.04 (with help by Roland Schäfer)
Grammix 2.0 beta 1
03.06.2007 - fixed lkb2signature. It now works with new versions of LKB.
31.05.2007 - Added Maltese grammar.
The German, Maltese, and Chinese grammar use a common core. All three
use MRS and scope with Utool. (Few sentences in the Chinese grammar
have problems (BEI construction with pronoun agents).
- Added test suite for Maltese
- Added test suite for Berligram, which is an extended version of the text book
test suite.
- Fixed problem with type hierarchy display.
- Updated to Utool 3.2pre
- allows MRSes with empty H-CONS lists.
- improved display that also shows variables
- has option to not normalize MRSs, important for debugging MRSes
which correspond to graphs that are not hypernormal
- Updated Trale
- new Utool functionality.
- changed font for chart display from
FONT=-*-clean-medium-r-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
to
FONT=-*-*-regular-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
to get Chinese characters right.
- moved Helvetica to first position for sans serif fonts in /etc/fonts/local.conf
to get the Maltese characters displayed correctly.
- added statement to local.conf that forbids the use of "bold" for fonts
that do not have a bold version. Now the test items in [incr TSDB()]
can be displayed properly. (http://www.coolsir.org/index.php?id=32)
- added autorun information for Windows.
- Windows and Mac OS correctly display Grammaix as the label name.
- hacked loading xmodmap and .Xresources into .bashrc
This is not the correct place, but X seems to ignore both .Xmodmap
and .Xresources (color)
07.03.2007 - Added German grammar with MRS semantics.
Fixed scoping of passives nad bar-derivations (unbound variables).
Modified utool interface code.
05.03.2007
- Fixed bug in grammars 17-19 regarding the object argument of subject control verbs
like `versprechen'.
- Fixed bug in grammar 10 regarding pronouns. The MOD value is unspecified.
14.01.2007
- uncommented code that tested MRSes for scopability. This made PVM communication
stop for ambiguous sentences for reasons unclear to me.
- Browse Parses with Chinese Characters looked ugly (bold was used).
Added specifications from http://wiki.debian.org.hk/w/Make_Debian_support_Chinese_%28eng%29
in /etc/fonts/local.conf
11.01.2007
- Change Grisurc default font size = 13 (because of Chinese) (Done in dotfiles already, to be transfered)
- Change default languages for the Bremen web sites to German (Cookie)
12.2006
- Java was now configured with a Chinese font as fallback
According to http://meta.poly.edu/~liqm/linux/chinese-debian-mini-howto.html
this is a hack. Check whether ISO fonts continue to work with utool.
Changed it in FontProperties
- Fixed URL to Utool in software.html
- Fixed URL to hpsg-lehrbuch.pdf in index.html
- Fixed dialogs for creating a permanent home directory
- Changed the color of types in Grisu since it conflicted with the red shown
in case of a unification clash.
