Job Offer: Postdoc Position at the FU Berlin
The German grammar group at the Department for German and Dutch Language of the Free University Berlin offers a full-time research position starting at 01.04.2015. The salary and social benefits are determined by the German pay scale for state employees (Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L FU) and amounts to 3300–4762 € per month, depending on previous professional experience (see income computation).
The ideal candidate works on the grammar of German or another Germanic language with a specialization (preferribly a completed PhD thesis) in formal approaches (for instance HPSG, LFG). The position involves 4 hours of teaching per week in the BA Deutsche Philologie and the MA Sprachen Europas: Strukturen und Verwendung.
The position is temporary, with an initial contract over three years.
