How to get to HPSG-2008

Overview

HPSG-2008 will be held in the Keihanna region in Japan. The main international airport is Kansai International Airport (KIX).

The conference will be held within the ATR Building, in the main conference room. ATR is just across the road from the Keihanna Plaza Hotel.

Access from Kansai Airport

To get here from Kansai airport, catch an airport limousine bus from stop number 9 to Gakken Keihanna Plaza (1800 yen/person) (timetable). It takes about an hour and a half.

Access from the Kyoto (Nara, Tokyo, etc)

• Catch a train to Shin-Hosono Station.
  • Take a taxi (10 minutes: about 1,500 yen)
  • Take a bus: either 36, 47 or 48 (from bus stop 1) or 41 (from bus stop 2). It takes about 15 minutes.
    Get out at 'ATR mae'

Access from Osaka (Kobe, etc)

• Catch a train to Gakken Nara Tomigaoka Station.
  • Take a taxi (10 minutes: about 1,500 yen)
  • Take a bus: either 47 or 41 (from bus stop 2).
    Get out at 'ATR mae'
• Catch a train to Gakuen Mae Station.
  • Take a taxi (20-30 minutes: about 3-5,000 yen)
